I love Food Saver products, I have had several over the last 15 years. Given as gifts and own myself. This model is quite good. Love the stand up feature. And can not tell you how much money I have saved.
All foods are kept fresh and especially fish.
The only caution I have is if purchased from a merchant through Amazon, Double check the 1 year warranty.

I recently bought this product and have used it at least 3 x a week since. I think it will save us a lot of money this summer with freezing and canning. Also the amount of hot dog and hamburger buns that won't go to waste is staggering!! I plan on having a lot more room in my freezer now too.

While i havent used the canisters enough to get the cracks and breaks like other complaints have had, everything seems to be going great with this. i love the ability to make my own bag sizes out of the rolls or to have the option of the premade bags on hand. highly recommend having this product on hand for any food saving needs you can come up with.

Made some jerky and then packed it for long term storage. This vacuum worked great, does a nice, easy to do, job. Love it so far.

This particular model is a dream. We have given it lots of use and couldn't be happier with it. I work in a restaurant and the chef told me the stand up model wasn't that durable so she switched to the V2830W. They use it daily, so that was enough convincing for me. We use it to freeze and store and to do quick marinades. I highly recommend it!
