Agreed with the previous reviewer that finding replacement gaskets for my clamp-down type glass kitchen canister jars is almost impossible. I've been looking for a long time (years). I was skeptical of these as the rubber looks narrow in comparison to the current gaskets. But as my current gaskets kept crumbling away I finally decided to give it a try based on the other reviewer mentioning that they worked for her. Yeah! They do. I have several types of glass canister jars that store things like sugar, oatmeal, barley, beans, rice, etc. They are all shapes and sizes (pints, quarts, gallon) with one thing in common - a standard sized opening. These "old type" WIDE mouth canning jar rubbers/gaskets fit perfectly. Yes, they are narrower but that just means they don't hang over the edge of the cover when clamped down but they do seal the closure. The price for a dozen of these is well worth it even if the shipping costs more than the product. I'm going to buy another dozen to make sure I've got replacements for the future.

This is a package of a dozen rubber sealing rings for wide-mouthed jars. These rings will fit the bail-closure, wide-mouthed jelly/jam jars I bought (with jam in them) at Sam's club years ago. Those seals went bad and I didn't want to throw the jars out.
The inside diameter is about 2-15/16". The outside diameter is about 3-9/16". The seal is slightly over 1/16" thick.
They seem to be of high quality red rubber and work fine.

These lids are impossible to find anymore, and I was glad to find them on the net. I had a set of glass storage jars that needed new seals. These do the job! Too bad the shipping cost more than the item itself!

These rings do fit around but they are so narrow they to not make it air tight when closed. They were a disapointment.

I have had a terrible time trying to find these seals/rings, and it took maybe three clicks and voila. These are just right for some antique bail(?)bale(?) type canning jars that I have as well as some newer "triomphe" french canning jars. Price was reasonable, and service was excellent.
