Definitely helps preserve wine for another day - my husband has a glass of wine with dinner and I usually don't. But the price for this little thing is very high, especially considering that it stops working after a few months and has to be replaced.

if you have your vacuumm sealer out on the counter most of the time or in a realative handy spot, then you will use this product more..otherwise, it doesn't get much use in my home due to limited kitchen space.
