excellent solutionJan 21, 2011
By Alex G. Morales Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R29YVSPGOMSIQ7 This product works perfectly for 16oz cans of Monster. If you open a can, pour out the portion you want to use, then immediately reseal and refrigerate the unused portion, the carbonation will be well preserved for at least a week. Kudos to the product team.

Used for years, works perfectlyDec 14, 2009

First and foremost, even after years of use, this can topper seals in everything including the fizz!!! Can't say how many tops i have tried, but this is the only one I trust. The top is very easy to put on and take off. It has a ring that seals the can tightly. Made of plastic but has never broken. I recently went out and bought another one so I can seal more than one soda. Everyone that has seen it in action has asked for one. On that note, my mom is getting hers for Christmas.
These can be found in kitchen stores everywhere. I searched online for it and its name is so ordinary that it is hard to search for. It is also listed on Amazon as Beverage Can Sealer.
The cover reads:

Coke Can ResealerApr 28, 2010
By C. E. Laing Jr. I looked at several can resealers. Finially, I decided to purchase this one. It does what it is advertised to do. However, there is a problem I encountered. The resealer is difficult to get on the can. It appears that it was designed for a larger can but modified to fit smaller can tops. (Obviously, this is my opinion based on what I see with the resealer and I cannot be absolutely sure about this.) Inside the resealer there is a plastic "ring" to make the resealer "fit" a smaller type can top. With the "ring" the resealer is difficult to put on a can. In fact, I have crushed about 50% of the cans when I attempted to put the resealer on the can. I am hoping it "breaks in" and is easier in the future but I am not sure it will become easier. The cans I am attempting to place the resealer on are typical coke cans. My recommendation is to purchase only one of the resealers for a trial period and see how you are successful (or not) putting the can resealer on the drink can. Maybe you'll do a better job than me. The design of the resealer is a good idea and, when properly installed, it does keep the drink fresh. So, it does as advertised and my low rating is based on my experience with getting the resealer installed.

Beverage Can Resealer-Short LivedOct 12, 2010
By M. Floyd I may have reviewed this item already. But, I have an update. The red inside o ring broke in less than a month of use. Once that happened, it no longer worked at all.

Designed for Old Style CansOct 22, 2010
By uptown-girl I was delighted when I found this item and purchased it for my father. I gave it to him and insisted that we immediately try out this wonderful item. As it turns out, not so wonderful...At first my father tried to use it on a Coke can, with little success. As he suffers from some arthritis in his hands, I mistakenly assumed that his inability to get the Beverage Can Resealer to attach to the can was user error rather that design error. I then tried to get the Can Resealer to fit on to the can, with similar result as my father. (aka I could not get it to work either.) Since we were using an unopened can we flipped it over and examined why we could not make it work. I believe that the problem is that, the product is designed for an old style can. If you look at a (Coke) soda can, you will notice the top tapers in quite a bit from the sides of the can. (Surprisingly so, and not as much I thought or remembered.) The red gasket on this product is just too large to ever make a proper seal on something this diameter. I am willing to give the product designer/engineer the benefit of the doubt on this one, an say that Coke changed their packaging design and the packaging change is the cause of the failure. None the less, I my experience, this product is not designed to work with the current cans that the Coca Cola Company uses. It may work on other companies cans, I an not sure.
***Please note purchase and returned product Summer 09, hopefully they have fixed this problem.***
