Colour/Pattern: Silver-tone lid and screw band
Capacity: 250 millilitres/8.4 ounces
Dimensions: 2-2/3"H
For best results, fill hot jar with prepared recipes, leaving recommended headspace. Wipe jar rim and threads with a clean, damp cloth removing any stickiness. Center hot SNAP lid on jar. Apply screw band just until fingertip tight; do not overtighten. After processing, remove jars from canner and set upright on a towel in a draft-free place. Do not retighten screw bands or check for seal while jars are hot. Cool processed jars upright, undisturbed for 24 hours. After 24 hours, check seals. Sealed lids curve downward and do not move when pressed. (Any unsealed jars should be reprocessed or refrigerated.) For all sealed jars, remove screw bands; wipe and dry bands and jars. Store screw bands separately or replace loosely on jars, as desired.

5Great Jars for storing Oil Paints!!Sep 06, 2010
By Mary Susan Vaughn
I purchased a set of these jars for storing my oil paints. As a professional oil painter, nothing is more frustrating than trying to squeeze oil paint out of an uncooperative tube. I thought I would try something different and purchased these jars to store my oil paints. Not only have the oil paints remained "fresh" with every time I open the jar, I have not had to put them in the freezer, which is what I used to have to do with my palette of unused oil paint after every session at my easel. These jars are great! They have a perfect, air-tight seal and have helped me to not only preserve my oil paints, but it is easier to see the colors, how much I have used, and it is easy to scoop out just what I need with a palette knife and return unused oil paint back to its container. If you are an oil painter, I highly recommend these jars for storing your oil paints.

5Great for Canning AlbacoreMay 16, 2007
By Allen S. Ibara "Dedicated Fisherman"
Perfect shape and size for 6 to 7 ounces of Albacore. I finished my first batch and am ordering two more cases. I am very happy with these canning jars because they have wide mouth openings and vertical sides making it easy to pack full of fresh fish.

4Pretty decentApr 29, 2010
By Nikisue "Luvtoshop"
I was unhappy with this product and wanted to return it but the cost to ship it back (to Canada) would've been ridiculous compared with what i paid for them so I kept them They looked much prettier in the picture.
Updated review 9/29/10
I used this jar to can preserves last night and the jars work well and have both the ring and the lid which is good if you are very serious canning foods according to US standards. I still think the photo is decepetive because it makes the tops look shiny silver when they are really a goldish/bronze color which makes it look cheaper, and I had wanted to give them as gifts filled with jams. However, they worked fine and the preserves look nice in them but no wow factor. Also, if you get the larger pint sized jar, the design on them is pretty with the swirls of fruits but the tops, once again, make the jars look not as outstanding as they could. Still, I am upgrading to four stars from 3 because they work well and are nice enough and way better looking then the old fashioned patterened jelly jars. Ugh! Just be sure you're going to keep them because return shipping at that high cost, would be a waste of your money.
