I'm happy with our Back to Basic Canning Kit. I am a beginner canner and the tools are easy to handle.

An excellent kit perfect for those starting canning activity. Unlike some of the others, this kit has "wrench" used to tighten the lids as well as the jar lifter. The magnet-tipped rod is useful. I purchased this for a young friend then walked him through his first batch of jelly.

If I had it to do over I would just buy the jar lifter and the funnel, you don't need the rest. I already have tongs, I don't use the lid lifter or the jar tightener.

I'm perfectly happy with this set. It's exactly what it states it is... a basic home canning kit. It has everything I needed and a couple 'extra' things that I may or may not need or use. Great value for the money. I'll probably end up replacing the funnel with a stainless steel version, but for the cost this set is just fine. No complaints.

I am a first time caner and found this kit included everything I would need to make canning our fresh veggies so much easier. After looking at other sites which sold the same kit priced anywhere from $15 to $32,naturally I purchased it from Amazon.
