If you do canning you need this funnel!Nov 24, 2008

I don't know why I lived without it! It sits beautifully in the mouth of the jar and the wide hole lets the food fall right into the jar like it wasn't there. Ladles seem to know just when to drip so it hits the side of the jar. You can almost hear them laughing at you. This funnel ends that! No more food running down the side of the canning jar. No more messy, sticky rims that need to be carefully cleaned before placing the lid. And it cleans very easily. I highly recommend it.

Sturdy plastic, easy to clean. A good funnel comes in handy for more tasks than canning. While freezing field peas I used it to get the slippery little suckers into the bags. I buy grains and other dry foods in bulk and use it to get them neatly into jars for storage. Cheap price and should last a long time.

This is one kitchen accessory that gets used every day. It's the perfect size to fill a thermos for our kid's school lunches. It would also be great for canning.
