Excellent ToolJan 01, 2008
By M. Klusman Bought as a last-minute replacement for my previous cutter, which was broke. Did a great job. I especially liked the special cutter for creaming corn. This eliminated the "double-scraping" that I normally do with a straight blade. I highly recommend this cutter!

Stronger plastic than I expectedJul 15, 2010
By Darrelmiester I bought this and an all-stainless one. I don't know what the plastic is made of but it's not cheap brittle junk. I have no fears of the plastic breaking. The slots on either side work well if you find a bowl/container that it will fit on. It frightens everyone who sees it and I do use a cut resistant glove just in case. After adjusting the blade height and a little practice, you will not cut into the cob. If you have kitchen skills, this will be no problem for you. The all stainless one will probably sit in the cupboard unless I get a very large square metal container that fits just right going to the bottom of the container and resting on the top edge on the other side. I think this one is best for most users.

American Corn CutterJul 28, 2010
By Dennis Kurc An old farmer recommended this to me. It works exceptionally well for both full kernel corn or creamed corn. Once the blades are adjusted to the size of corn you have doing even a bushel of corn is a snap. Place it over a large pot and in 4 strokes a cob is done completely.

Love it.Jul 27, 2010
By butterfly My mother had this cutter forever. When she passed away I got it and I love it. I have tried a few others, but this one is the best I have ever used. I won't use anything else.

mish,mash, mushSep 11, 2011
By radigan Doesn't matter which blade you use, this corn cutter just cuts off half the kernels. You end up running the cob through a second time and by then you have mush. Tried four different corn peelers including this one before finding one that really did the job.
