Here's the information that isn't included in this item's description. The outside diameter is about 2-15/16". The inside diameter is about 2-19/64" (just under 2-5/16").
Silly me. I thought that the 2-3/4" diameter given in the description was the inside diameter, since I thought that would be what matters most to most people.
These seals are for a regular narrow-mouthed jar. They will not fit the wider-mouthed, bail-closure jars that I bought them for.
I should have sent a question to the seller before ordering. My mistake. Don't you make the same one. I will order the wide-mouth seals, also sold by ProMax Supply. Their service was fine, although shipping was expensive.
These seals do appear to be of excellent quality, and although the company is in Canada, the seals I got were labeled as having been made in Sri Lanka. Nothing wrong with that, as they should work fine.

I had purchased these antique/vintage gasket jars at a tag sale.(Atlas e-z seal)They were, however, sans rubber gaskets. I had no idea the rubber seals could be purchased on Amazon!!! I am so glad that I held onto these jars, they seal beautifully now, and I was able to use them to can my homemade maple syrup-they look gorgeous!

The quality of these gaskets are excellent. Since we are no longer able to get these in the states, it is wonderful that they are produced in Canada. I have had no problems with the seals.

Viceroy Rubber & Plastics #12007 12PK RED Wide Mouth Jar Rubber
I haven't used them yet but they arrived quickly and they are exactly what I expected. You cannot buy these in any stores that I have checked, so I was so glad to find them online. This is not an item I need very often, so am glad to be able to get it. Price was good too. I would rather the shipping not be so expensive for such a small inexpensive item.

This is an excellent product. It works with the regular sized antique jars and I've used them to can low pressure produce.
